who has viewed our profile from a particular LinkedIn post?
Many of you probably don't know about this new feature on the platform yet, but LinkedIn has started rolling out a new feature that gives you a much better idea of how your posts are actually performing. It's about advanced analyses of publications on the platform - something many content creators have been waiting for for a long time.
So far we've mostly seen likes, comments, impressions - metrics that say "something happened" but not what exactly happened next. With the new features, we can now see much more specifically whether people:
- have visited our profile,
- have started following us,
- have clicked on links or buttons.
📊 One of the most valuable new sections is called Activity Profile.
It shows how many people have visited your profile as a direct result of a post. This is very valuable information for anyone building a personal brand or positioning themselves as experts on the platform. This way you find out not just if someone saw your post, but how many people actually wanted to learn more about you.

You can also find out more information about how many people specifically have followed you as a result of your post. This metric gives you insight into which posts are attracting new people to your audience. It's much different to see "+80 new followers" and know that 60 of them came from a specific post.
🔗 The second supplement is Link Engagement. It is aimed at those of us who use LinkedIn to drive traffic to newsletters, landing pages, websites and even product pages.

The function is only available for Premium users, but if you have a CTA button active on your profile (e.g. "Visit my website"), you'll be able to see which posts lead to the most clicks.
These improvements are not accidental. LinkedIn is clearly showing that it wants to evolve as a platform for content creators and professional communications. Many bushes probably aren't fans of looking at their data, but if you're a content creator, an expert, or just a person with a voice, now is the time to pay attention to your data.
Because measuring success is no longer an end in itself. It is a tool. A tool that will show you:
- what to improve,
- what to repeat,
- and how to build a deeper connection with your audience.
