Emanuel Tonev was born on 09 November 2000 in Novi Pazar. From a young age Emo has had an interest in art, and at the age of seven he began to pursue music professionally, starting to play the synthesizer. However, his career as a musician faded after about 7 years and to this day he plays only as a hobby, but not on one, but on as many as five instruments.
The artistic in him helps him a lot in a number of challenges in his life. When he was 14 years old, he went to study foreign languages in the city of Baku. When he was 14, he started studying languages in Shumen, where he finished his secondary education.
After turning 18, he wonders between many different majors he finds interesting and wants to develop. Some of them are psychology, political science and marketing. The latter became his passion after he started studying at the University of Economics - Varna, where he graduated with a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree with a 6.00 distinction. Currently he is an active PhD student at the University of Economics - Varna.
Many define Emo as a natural talent, and these words are validated by the many awards he has received to date, some of which are "Best Young Marketer in the category of "Content Creation" for Bulgaria , Talent of the Year in the category of "Marketing, Advertising and PR" for Bulgaria, Student of the Year at the University of Economics - Varna in the "Master", twice "Student of the Year" for the Municipality of Varna and many others.
As of 2026, Emo works at the first LinkedIn marketing agency in Bulgaria - BookMark, where he is involved in strategic positioning, development, B2B and B2C communications on LinkedIn, as well as copywriting. In addition to his work at the agency, he has successfully positioned himself as a freelancer and consultant, helping to develop numerous professionals in the business scene at home and abroad.
Public Appearances
He is no stranger to public appearances, as Emo gives lectures at a number of events as a guest speaker (Digital4Network, BrandTalks, BAUH, SofiaTalks, etc.), as well as by invitation at various online and offline universities in the country, some of which are the University of Economics - Varna, Sofia University „St. Kliment Ohridski and SoftUni Digital. Audiences he has spoken to range from 20 to 400+ people.
Initiatives
Among other things, Emo is a strong supporter of volunteering and entrepreneurial initiatives. He takes part as a mentor in various initiatives such as Tuk-Tam „Ideinik“, HR: Rush for practice, and recently organized the events in the town of Emo. Table Talks„
